Diafilmy byly u nás prodávané v plastových špulkách opatřených etiketou s názvem pohádky. Uvádíme pouze nejčastější provedení, kde jsme si jisti, že jsou originální:
- Bakelit – hladký, s etiketou s podobou filmu, modré a červené provedení, název pohádky natištěn, datace cca 50. – 60. léta, FLB
- Stejný obal jako předchozí, etiketa pouze text, datace cca 50. – 60. léta, FLB – Olomouc
- Bakelit – vroubkovaný, pod etiketou vroubkování vyhlazené, hnědé a černé provedení, z etikety lze kromě názvu vyčíst rok vydání a MOC, datace cca 60. – 70. léta, MÚ
- Šedý plast, průhledné / neprůhledné víčko s vyraženým logem, dva druhy potišněného loga, název a MOC (často sedřené), od 70. let, FLB
- pro školy vyšlo i několik sad poučných diafilmů, které byly baleny v kartonové krabici.
- Různé barvy (bílá, žlutá, oranžová, červená, sv.modrá, tm.modrá, sv.zelená, tm.zelená, sv.hnědá), víčka stejné barvy, bílé pravděpodobně nejstarší, informace z etiket nejsou vždy shodné, často cena a rok, výskyt od 80. let, MÚ
- Papírové obal s víčkem, nalepená etiketa s názvem pohádky, rok vydání a MOC, datace cca 60. – 70. léta, FLB – Olomouc
- Od kinofilmů, špulky černé nebo průsvitné, víčka černá, průsvitná, šedá – 4 různé tvary, na etiketě počet políček, rok a čárkový kód, od 90. let dodnes, MÚ
- Průhledný křehký plast, výrazné barvy (růžová), nápis pod víčkem, FLB
- Plastová pouzdra tvaru krychle, na promítaní slouží speciální podavač.
